Happy weekend, everyone! This post was supposed to be titled “Friday Fun,” but that clearly didn’t happen – oops! It has been a crazy last week of summer for me, mostly setting up my classroom and taking care of last-minute details so I won’t be going as crazy during prep week. It’s hard to believe I’ll have students in just over a week! As sad as I always am to see summer (or as I call it “comp time”) end, I am actually pretty excited about the upcoming school year.
I’ve been brainstorming over the past few days, trying to figure out what kind of posting schedule I want to aim for, now that the blog is up and running. Here’s what I’m thinking: I’ll aim for 2 posts per week for now, since the beginning of the school year is always insane. I’m going to start with Meal Plan Mondays, where I’ll share my meal plan for the coming week and talk about what went well and what didn’t from the previous week. Later in the week, I’ll post something else – a general reflective post like the ones I’ve done so far, a #12projectsin12months update, a product review… something like that. If you have any ideas of things you’d like to see here, please leave a comment! I may end up adding a third weekly post- I’m thinking either Fashion Friday, where I’d post what I wore over the past week, or just Friday Fun, where I’d talk about things I’m loving at the moment.
Don’t forget to follow me on social media if you want to keep up more often- links are at the bottom of the page! As a bonus for reading this far, here is the recipe for the Honey-Sriracha Meatballs I posted the other day – they were delicious! I only had one pound of turkey, so I halved the meatball recipe but kept the sauce the same – they were spicy (to me at least), but delicious with some cauliflower rice and snow peas! Enjoy!
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Chris and I are celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary tomorrow – time flies when you’re having fun!
